Asussetup Error On Startup

For PC on the PC, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'AsusSetup: SetupInfo Value is Null error popping up again, please help'. Just start Task Scheduler and delete Asus Setup task. This is because you have removed DVD installation media from drive prematurely. Another time wait setup to finish. Just in case restart twice to be shore. One when program asks to reboot and other time 5 minutes after Windows boot. After the program has installed, locate the desktop or Start Menu icon, right click and select Properties; Go to the Compatibility tab and check 'Run this program as administrator' in the Privilege level section. Apply the change, OK to exit and then start the program from the icon.

i setup 2nd win7 as dual boot, setting up all the mobo drivers.

one of the setup is the intel chip drivers from Asus.

upon restart and login, there's always an error popup 'Can't find AsusSetup.ini : C:windowschipsetdriverhotfixasusSetup.ini'

Asussetup Error On Startup Failed

I try uninstall, but chipset installation has no uninstallation option. Download age of mythology mediafire.

anyway to tackle apart from visiting asus forum (because I hardly can find any good/reliable resolution from asus forum)

I already tried the latest update from their official download site, in fact that setup give me error about 'does not support this operating system : WNT_6.1P_64_MCE'

see, I really have no confidence with their support.

A Scheduled task which configured to activate during the start-up or booting could be the reason for this error 'Can't find AsusSetup.ini : C:windowschipsetdriverhotfixasusSetup.ini'. Removing or disabling that task will solve the issue permanently .Setup

How to remove or disable a scheduled task.

  • Go to 'Control PanelSystem and SecurityAdministrative Tools'
  • Open 'Task Scheduler'
  • Select the 'Task' located under 'Active Tasks'
  • Double click that task (for eg: here it is SETUP.EXE)
  • Then click the Delete button located in the right pane .
